The Hunger Games: Mockingjay’s Wes Chatham and Wife Welcome a Son! (UPDATE)

Updated Story (November 25, 2014): Baby fever is catching! Just weeks after fellow Hunger Games actor, Wes Bentley, announced the birth of his second child, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 star Wes Chatham welcomed his first child!

The actor and his wife, Jenn Brown, celebrated the arrival of their son, John Nash Chatham, on November 24. “We are already in love and can’t wait to take our little Nash home,” the new parents gushed to People.

The couple knew they were expecting a little boy, and Jenn was super excited to see her two men together. “I know [Wes] will be a wonderful father and I can’t wait to see him hold our little guy for the first time in his arms,” she previously told the magazine. We’re sure those two are enjoying every moment together!

Congratulation to the new family!

Original Story (July 30, 2014): The Hunger Games: Mockingjay clan is about to get one little addition to their family! Actor Wes Chatham — who will play Castor in the upcoming Hunger Games installments — is expecting his first child with wife, American Ninja Warrior co-host Jenn Brown.

The couple just confirmed the happy news to People saying, “With as much as this baby is kicking, we think we have America’s first Baby Ninja Warrior!” While we’re on the topic of puns, we wonder if Wes will be buying his bundle of joy a mocking...jay when the time comes (Sorry, we had to!).

Wes and Jenn tied the knot back in April 2012 in the 35-year-old actor’s home state of Georgia. If you’re not too familiar with the actor, Wes previously starred in numerous films including The Help, where he played Skeeter’s (Emma Stone’s character) brother, Carlton Phelan.

He was also well-known for his role in the hit CBS television series, The Unit, opposite Scott Foley (who is also expecting his third child) and Dennis Haysbert.

Wes will soon be hitting the big screen when he takes on the role of Castor, one of the two cameramen from the Capital (his brother Pollux will be played by Elden Henson) when The Hunger Games: Mockingjay hits theaters on November 21.

Congratulations to the parents-to-be!
