March 6, 2013: The first arrest we have on record for Mr. Courty happened on March 6. Fans thought it was a joke when Courtland tweeted that he was on his way to jail, but the Southern gent wasn’t lying at all! The Brunswick County Sheriff’s office issued the baby daddy with an arrest warrant with six charges — four counts of assault against a female (Jenelle) and two counts of battery against an unborn child! The charges stemmed from a domestic dispute charge that Jenelle filed against him on January 23, 2013. At the time, Jenelle was around 6-7 weeks pregnant with the couple’s first kid, but she later miscarried.

After pleading guilty to two counts of assault on April 8, Courtland was given a sentence of two years probation.

April 23, 2013: On April 23, Courtland and wifey Jenelle were arrested after the police showed up for an alleged physical altercation between the two. The cops then found 12 bindles of heroin in their possession as well as wrapping papers, a glass pipe, and illegal Percocet. They were both booked on possession and assault charges.

Because Courtland violated his probation from a previous charge, Courtland was held in jail on an additional $50,000 bond.

June 4, 2013: Courtland was able to do the impossible by being arrested while in already in jail! In June 2013, the Teen Mom 2 husband was arrested by the New Hanover County police at the New Brunswick County jail for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge. The arrest added another bond to Courtland’s already staggering bail of $85,000 to $185,000.

Courty remained in jail for over 100 days. He was released after copping a plea deal (despite pleading his innocence). The majority of his charges were dropped and Courtland was free to roam the backwoods of North Carolina once more.

September 16, 2013: Courtland was arrested recently and Jenelle had nothing to do with it — well, sort of. A warrant was issued for Courtland’s arrest after Jenelle’s sister, Ashleigh Evans Wilson, filed charges against the Southern gent. According to Ashleigh, Courtland made several “harassing” phone calls on Sept. 11 and on Sept. 16, Courty turned himself in. He was released later that day on a $1,000 bond.

Courtland says that he’s going to fight this charge as he’s “never” talked to Ashleigh in his life. Let’s see how this one turns out!
