Pretty Little Liars has its fair share of masks, but never on the face (or from the face) of Ian Harding (Ezra Fitz). Now that we know the English high school teacher is “A,” we wonder if that will change especially given a recent mask-related Instagram involving Ian. Will we be seeing Ian in a mask in Season 4B?

“Awesome day lifecasting @actuallyharding with@morbxfx for @tatesteinsiek 's film #specialfx#faceoff”,” tweeted Laney Chantal, a contestant on Season 5 of Syfy’s competition series for special effects artists, Face Off. Ian is in the photo that accompanies the tweet, getting his handsome mug (and head and neck and shoulders) live-cast. It’s kind of creepy and kind of cool. But what will the cast be used for?

It definitely doesn’t seem PLL-related. Unfortunately. The tweet mentions that the livecast is for Tate Steinseik’s film. Tate is also a former contestant of Face Off and is in the pre-production process for his directorial debut, a film version of the short story, Son of Celluloid. Is Ian involved in the project? We haven’t found any evidence of this, past this pic, but we’ll keep you updated. In the meantime, we’ll just have to hope Ezra breaks out the masks in Season 4B or 5. Because more Ian Harding faces? Always a good thing.
