First impressions are everything on The Bachelorette, with an entire episode dedicated mostly to watching people watch people get out of a car. On Season 11’s premiere, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson will smile stiffly at some 25 fellas as they not only hop out of all sorts of contraptions (see: a hot tub car and a cupcake), but also get to choose which girl they want. One guy we know we want on the show? That would be Ian Thomson.

The 28-year-old will certainly have no problem with his first impression, thanks to his crazy white smile. And turning it on for the camera is no new thing for Ian, since the tall, handsome fella has put in a few hours as a model, according to spoiler king Reality Steve.

When he’s not showing off his perfect lips and sleek jawline for the camera, you can find him cruising for talent. And no, we don’t mean that in a fratty bar way. Ian works for DHR International, a firm focused on executive searches for companies. The Senior Associate works in the media and entertainment sector of the company, finding the next makers and shakers since he started in February 2014.

And while that job sounds like a whole lot of pressure, he was basically trained for it, having attended Princeton University (Class of ‘09) to earn a BA in history and minor in African-American studies, before working as an alumni interviewer for four years. While at the prestigious school, he also snagged a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, and wrote three (!) theses. Oh, and did we mention that he did all that while running on the varsity track and field team, becoming a three-time All-Ivy League performer? Damn, Gina.

So, in conclusion, we vote Ian Thomson for president of Kaitlyn’s heart. Or, at least the next Bachelor…

What do you think of Ian: Is he too good to be true, or just good enough for our Bachelorette?
