On this week's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks took a trip down memory lane when they visited their hometown of Athens, Georgia, along with Mynique's hubby, Chuck Smith.
Still, just because NeNe and Phaedra grew up in the same town, that doesn't mean that NeNe knew her, and now she's making sure that's crystal clear to everyone. NeNe took to her Bravo blog to once again insist that she did not know Phaedra back in the day.
"What is Phaedra's problem?," NeNe began, ranting, "Why is she saying she's so glad I finally acknowledge that I know her? Please show me where in this episode I acknowledge that I knew her back in my Athens days. I'm still waiting. You haven't found it yet? It doesn’t exist!"
NeNe went on to point out the age difference between her and Phaedra, and how unlikely it would have been for them to have been hanging out together.
"Did I know Phaedra when I was in high school, NO! I say clearly on this episode that I am the class of ‘85. Chuck says he's the class of ‘88 and the innocent Phaedra is the class of ‘89," NeNe recounted, later adding, "What senior hangs out with an 8th grader?"
NeNe even got her family to back her up.
"My Aunt raised me and I asked her if I was forgetting something. I asked her if she knew Phaedra's family, her mother, or her father, and my aunt who has raised me since I was 3-years-old said no," NeNe confirmed.
Do you think it's weird that NeNe is so passionate about this topic? Sound off below!
