Is Former RHONY Star Jill Zarin Coming Back to TV? Exclusive!

Housewife or not, Jill Zarin throws great party. We know because Wetpaint Entertainment attended her first annual Ladies Luxury Luncheon, presented by the European Wax Center, at Jill’s beachside Southampton spread; and we had a ball alongside Bravolebrities including LuAnn de Lesseps, Aviva Drescher and Kathy Wakile.

Jill did such a great job, she hinted her future may be in event planning and not reality TV. But does that mean we won’t see her on the airwaves again? In an exclusive interview, she sets the record straight.

Wetpaint Entertainment: How much does it mean to you that so many Housewives — LuAnn, Aviva, and Kathy — showed up for you?
Jill Zarin: It’s so exciting because all my friends showed up for me. And I said this in [Jill's book] Secrets of a Jewish Mother, but in life, it’s about showing up. This wasn’t a wedding or a bar mitzvah, but they all knew it was important to me.

It’s for the Eric Trump Foundation for St. Jude’s Hospitalm and I hope I helped raise a lot of money for them. I didn’t charge anyone — it was about the sponsors paying to be here. Everyone gets gifted free product, [and] my friends have the time of their lives.

We have a new home and I wanted to show it off and show it to everyone. You know, in life I’m very blessed and I want to share it. I’ve been very lucky.

Once a Housewife, always a Housewife?
Once a Housewife, always a Housewife; and I think I’m meant to do this. I am a people person. I love connecting.

I was one of the original [cast members], and my relationships are still great. LuAnn is one of my dearest friends, and I got to know Aviva when she was cast on the show. And Kathy and I connected immediately. She’s like my Jewish-Italian sister.

Will we see you back on TV soon?
As much as I love doing the reality shows, I started my career doing parties. In college I used to throw parties where I would sell tickets, and models would compete, and the winner would get a free portfolio and a trip to New York. That was my gimmick. And I made $1500 a night, and I loved it. It goes all the way back to then. I loved it, and I still love it. It’s different now, but it’s still about brands and people, and it’s a big high. And I have to admit, I’m going to be very low tomorrow. I’m just going to have to come up with my next big thing!

But I’m really proud of what I’ve accomplished.
