Grey’s Anatomy Is the No. 1 Broadcast TV Drama!

As this year’s TV season wraps up, the rating numbers are starting to roll in. So how did Grey’s Anatomy Season 9 do?

It came in as the No. 1 broadcast drama among adults 18-49, after combining live views and DVR, according to an ABC press release. And if you’re wondering how much DVR tipped the scales, Grey’s accumulated an additional 3.16 million viewers who were watching the show recorded. That’s a ton of people!

This is great news for us, because as long as the show has high ratings, we will keep getting new episodes. Basically, keep watching, and keep DVR-ing!

However, Grey’s fans don’t have to worry about Season 10 — the hit show was already renewed and will return in the same time slot on Thursdays at 9 p.m. on ABC this fall. This year, though, it will get a lead-in from new Once Upon a Time spin-off, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. So exciting!
