Glee Spoiler: Is Jenna Ushkowitz’s Tina Really Off the Show? — Answer Confirmed!

UPDATE: It's official: Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) is not making the move to NYC. She is off Glee for the remainder of the year. Lea Michele (Rachel) confirmed what we'd already suspected, based on various tweets by the Glee actors from on-set. In an interview with MTV, Lea said, ""It’s just myself, Kevin McHale, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Chord Overstreet in New York City. I think that’s everyone. Chris, Darren, Chord, Kevin, me and then Amber comes in for a few episodes." No mention of Jenna at all.

Will you miss Tina when she's gone?

Original article: We all got a bit of a shock this week when it was reported that Tina might be off Glee for good as the show shifts its attention to the NYC storyline. But is Tina's run on the show really up? Well, it appears that we've got good news and bad news.

The bad news is that Tina wants to attend Brown University in Rhode Island, and if she does that, then she wouldn't be off to NYC with fellow McKinley grads like Blaine and Artie. However, the good news is that the show will devote several episodes to Tina making her big decision.

"There's a lot of Tina Cohen-Chang coming up," Jenna tells E! Online. "She's sort of figuring out where she's going to go to school, if she's going to go to New York or if she's going to go somewhere else."

"She gets waitlisted at Brown [University], and so it's going to be a little bit of a three-episode arc to see where she ends up," Jenna adds.

So how do we feel about this news? Well, we don't feel great about it, since even a hint that Tina - who was one of New Directions' original five members - might leave the show is a major bringdown.

However, it appears that Tina will be appearing in the Friends recreation scene in Season 5, Episode 14: "New New York." So does that mean she will in fact be Big Apple-bound? Or maybe the Friends scene is just a fantasy sequence where Tina tries to imagine what living in NYC would be like.

Needless to say, if Tina is leaving the show for good, this is not going to be our day, our week, our month, or even our year.

Do you think Tina will move to NYC? Or will you not really miss her?
