Is Vanessa Hudgens Planning an Intervention For Zac Efron? — Report

After news broke about Zac Efron’s fight in downtown LA’s Skid Row, we have to admit, we’ve been a little worried. As shocking as Zac’s secret stints in rehab were, we were glad to see he took responsibility and got the help he needed — and since he’s emerged, he’s been just the Zac we know.

But could he be relapsing? Friends of the former Disney star are reportedly concerned that Zac’s gone back to his old ways of substance abuse, and according to Hollywood Life, ex-flame and High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens is willing to help him turn things back around.

“Vanessa feels bad about Zac’s troubles but they have definitely moved very far apart from when they were a couple,” a source close to the Spring Breakers star says. Not exactly a surprise, though — Vanessa and Zac haven’t been a thing since 2010… and yes, we are still disappointed they didn’t end up getting married.“They have rarely if at all talked with each other since their breakup,” the source adds. “She doesn’t really want to get into it and is not really reaching out because she knows he won’t listen to her.”

But, the source assures us, Vanessa would “be willing to talk to him if there was ever an intervention.”

Whether or not Zac’s actually relapsed is yet to be seen — we can’t really make that call based on the fact that we know he was in a sketchy neighborhood one time recently. Maybe more details will surface soon? And if they do, at least we know Vanessa will be rooting for him… and we will, too.
