Things are getting truly "real" this week for Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice. Tre and her husband, Joe Giudice, have pleaded guilty to some charges after being charged with 41 counts of financial fraud, and even though they did bargain a plea deal, both she and Joe are facing jail time. Joe may even be deported.
Friends of Teresa recently chatted with All About the Real Housewives to give an update on how the mama of four is handling the situation.
"She’s been very strong and her friends have been very supportive. Her parents are really worried for and have been stressing out especially her father... Joe’s mother has also been feeling stressed about her son and has been there for him through the entire process," they confided.
Joe is likely to serve at least three to four years in prison, while Teresa is facing up to two years, though she could also get off with probation. If Teresa does have to go to jail, she's hoping to serve her time under house arrest, so she doesn't have to be separated from her four girls. The idea of not being with her daughters terrifies her.
"She’s very scared," the sources revealed, adding, "All Teresa cares about are her children. They matter the most to her and she wants to make sure that they are okay at all times. She is trying her best to be strong for them so that they aren’t afraid of what’s happening."
The sentencing is scheduled to happen this July. We wish the family well and hope for the best possible scenario for them.
