We also never imagined Wren (Julian Morris) would suddenly be in the picture, but although Wren has yet to make a move with Hanna, the two have been spending a lot of time together. Is there a potential for romance there? And if so, what does that mean for Wrencer?

A fan recently tweeted at PLL showrunner Marlene King, "I'm torn between Wrencer and Wranna."
Hmmm. Julian Morris did say before the season started that Wren's heart "has been for Spencer [Troian Bellisario]" since the beginning of the show, but this season "there could possibly be other avenues opening up." Given what we've seen so far, it sounds to us like Wren is developing feelings for Hanna (or will start to) — but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll stop carrying a torch for Spencer.
Of course, poor Hanna is busy being broken-hearted over Caleb, and Ashley Benson has said she thinks Hanna and Caleb "will always be somewhat of an item," so we doubt she'll completely move on to Wren at a drop of the hat — but just because she hasn't gotten over Caleb doesn't mean she and Wren can't hook up.
