Obviously if creator Shonda Rhimes decided to bring Isaiah back after he was fired for alleged anti-gay slurs, it would have to be one amazing comeback. And although Isaiah’s only back to make sure Cristina receives a proper send-off, it better be good.
“I read the script last night,” Isaiah told Todayin a recent interview. “The script is so amazing, it will blow you away. Shonda Rhimes is a genius. I’m unbelievably humble and over the moon with what I read last night.”
Okay, now we have to know what this episode’s about — or which episode we can expect Burke to pop up in. Will it be Cristina’s final episode? We’re not sure yet, but we’re assuming he’ll show up very close to the end of the season. No word on whether or not Burke and Cristina’s former (and kinda current) flame Owen (Kevin McKidd) will cross paths, but if they do… oh, we can’t wait.
And apparently, whatever Isaiah read is something he’s convinced will change everything.
“I had to stop and say, ‘OK, now what? What is the world going to do after this?’” Isaiah said. “It’s going to blow you away! It’s all positive. It’s so amazing. It’s just beyond.”
And since Isaiah said it’s a positive ending, we’re hoping that means this time when he leaves, everyone has their eyebrows in tact.
