"Contrary to popular belief I’m glad it happened," he tells TheUrbanDaily.com as he promotes his new show, The CW's The 100.
(Never mind that his CW salary is probably just a fraction of what he'd likely be earning on an ABC show in its tenth season.)
"The same man who so-called fired me from Grey's Anatomy on ABC put me on a show called The 100 playing the president 97 years in the future," Isaiah claims — likely referring to Mark Pedowitz, then an executive vice president and ABC and now the president of The CW.
And, uh, Isaiah, you're actually playing a chancellor — the leader of a failing space station which houses what's left of humanity after nuclear armageddon on Earth — and the man who sends 100 juvenile prisoners back down to the planet's surface to assess its habitability.
If you're still a fan of Isaiah, you can check out The 100 when it premieres Wednesday, March 19, at 9 p.m. ET.
