Jacqueline Laurita Reveals Surprising Fact About Her Childhood
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast may seem to have Garden State grittiness pumping through their veins, but did you know that one of the girls used to call Germany home?
Former RHONJ star Jacqueline Laurita, who endured regular moves as a child, thanks to her father’s career in the military, revealed that she and her family lived in Germany for a few years before moving back to the States.
“Did you all know that I lived in Augsburg, Germany for 3 years while growing up? I did!” the stay-at-home mom of three told her Twitter followers.
To prove she wasn’t faking it, Jac showed off a few German words she’d retained from her family’s brief stint in Deutschland. “‘Hallo! Guten Tag!’” — “hello” and “good day,” respectively.
Although Jacqueline’s foreign language skills may leave something to be desired — unless she has no plans to carry on a conversation past the introduction stage with native German speakers — it stands to reason that her family’s regular moves may have kept her from mastering the difficult foreign tongue.
While she may not be fluent in the German, one thing is for sure — she’s got talking Jersey down pat.
