Jacqueline Laurita Vows to Get Healthy — Goodbye, Sunday Dinners!

Bad news for the men in Jacqueline Laurita's family! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is cracking down on their somewhat unhealthy eating habits and she means business. Apparently, this Italian isn't feeling so skinny and she plans on switching things up in her kitchen, starting with beloved Sunday dinners.

Jacqueline was motivated to make a change after yet another holiday weekend filled with amazing food and sweets. Shortly after Easter wrapped up this past weekend, Jacqueline took to Twitter to pledge her vow.

"I'm never going to get to my goal weight if we keep having these Holidays! I need a year off. (But not really...I live for them.)," she posted.

She then went on to share her plan.

"Sunday dinners have to change over here! Lean meats, vegetables, salads! No pasta, no bread, no cheese, no Sopressata! (Think anyone will come?)," she wondered.

We love steak and veggies as much as the next person, but no Sopressata? That's rough!

What's more, Jacqueline isn't just aiming to change her diet — she wants to get the whole fam involved. Not long after posting her tweets, Jacqueline sent a message to her husband, suggesting a switch-up to the menu for his poker nights, which usually include Manzo brothers, Albie and Christopher.

"Hey @chris_laurita, how do u feel about card games with vegetable platters instead of the usual antipasto platter?" she asked.

Forget about hiding Aces up your sleeves, boys — it looks like you'll have to sneak some salamis in there instead.

Are you impressed with Jac's vow to get her whole family on a healthier path? Do you think she'll follow through? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
