Leave Jamie Otis alone!

That’s how we were feeling this week when we found out the Married at First Sight star was dealing with body shamers — even though she’s expecting her first child!

But it seems the mama-to-be didn’t need us to go all Chris Crocker on her, as she’s doing a great job standing up for herself!

It all started this week when the reality star, who is in the second trimester of her pregnancy, noticed a comment on one of her Facebook Live videos.

Underneath the clip, which showed Jamie discussing her latest FabFitFun haul, a women rudely responded, noting her “lopsided” breasts.

“I’m just trying to figure out what’s lopsided – her boobs, her bra or her shirt… Woman, have some respect for yourself,” the commenter wrote.

Instead of taking that judgment lying down, the 30-year-old fought back at the hater, first approaching her with a private message.

Then, she screenshotted the comment and included it in a blog post.

“I am a bit hormonal so please forgive me in advance for my brutal honesty on this topic,” the Bachelor alum begins.

She continues, “I guess I am a bit sensitive, too. I’ve been bullied and shamed before — it’s not fun.

“I used to be so insecure that I would just keep quiet and not say anything. It’s time people who are being bullied and shamed stand up for themselves.”

The registered nurse goes on to explain why she’s highlighting her critic’s bad behavior.

“Maybe she didn’t realize that her comment was so hurtful and downright rude?” she muses. “Maybe if I speak up, she won’t hurt another person by bullying and shaming them.”

Unfortunately, her direct message approach didn’t work, as she reveals the woman responded saying the “world doesn’t need to see” her cleavage and she should be more covered-up.

“Her response to me literally left me speechless,” Jamie admits, adding, “Instead of maybe apologizing and accepting that her words were hurtful, she went on to try to shame and bully me more.”

Luckily, she’s not letting the negativity keep her down, instead choosing to share the experience with her other readers who might be inclined to leave similar comments on social media.

“Maybe we as women could go out of our way to build each other up instead of tear each other down,” she reasons.

She then concludes, “And if you’re reading this after being bullied or shamed, please know you are not alone. Don’t go hide in shame, but instead stand up to your bully.”
