We already know Jane Lynch is most likely making a comeback on the final season of Glee, but what else does she have lined up? We don’t expect her to disappear when Sue Sylvester is no more, so we don’t doubt she has some awesome projects lined up in the future.
And if she needs a little help filling her schedule, the folks at Criminal Minds would be happy to have her back. After appearing on several episodes of the show in 2006 and 2008 as Diana Reid, the schizophrenic mother of Spencer Reid (played by Matthew Gray Gubler), the show’s producers would love to get Jane back on set next season.
“I really want to get Jane back again,” executive producer Erica Messer told TV Guide. “This will be interesting to see how we pull that off and if it’s right away. Because Glee’s in its final season, maybe it’s something we can’t get to until later in the year.”
Erica’s right — Jane’s appearances on Glee this season are just about a sure thing, according to Jane herself.
“They had me come to Upfronts so I hope I’m coming back!” Jane said in early May. “If they bring you to Upfronts, it’s usually a good thing.
Fingers crossed Sue Sylvester rides again — and that we get to see Jane on Criminal Minds, too!
Do you want Jane to return to Criminal Minds, or is she always going to be Sue Sylvester to you?
