Apparently the Jason/Brittany dalliance was not just a drunken fling, since they're now dating. They’ve been making appearances together and Jason shared a cute photo of them over the weekend. "A little surprise for my girl @brittanylkerr tonight," Jason wrote when sharing a photo of Brittany kissing an adorable dog. "Her favorite pooch @manny_the_frenchie came to my show in Chi-Town tonite. #loveubaby #surprise." That's sweet, but a lot of followers still aren’t ready separate it from the context of Brittany being his former mistress, the woman who helped to embarrass his family in the public eye.
Feelin' the hate, Jason followed up with an Instagram photo featuring the quote "You know my name, not my story. You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through."
With that, he added this caption: "So sick of people judging me and @brittanylkerr over things they know nothing about. I have made mistakes but i am a better person because of it, and wouldnt change a thing. Im happier than i have ever been, so thank u to all the people who support us. We are happy and life goes on. Its time to move on people. #aldeanarmy #oldnews #timetomoveon."
A lot of fans did write comments of support to that, saying, "Haters r gonna hate!," "Good job brother," and "I am a huge fan and a huge supporter!!! You two just be happy and enjoy life!" But some fans were more focused on what his wife and two children had been through. "Let's see how Jason feels in 15 to 20 years when a man does this to his daughters," one person wrote. "Let's see if he'll be understanding then . If he's truly the country boy he claims to be,he will be getting a shotgun out. I love his music but completely lost all respect for him as a man."
How do you feel about this — do you agree with Jason that it's time to move on, since he and Brittany seem to be happy with their lives, or do you think fans have every right to share their disapproval with how the couple got together?
