Jason Derulo Removed From Plane After Airport Confrontation
Jason Derulo had one foot in the door of the Reno airport before tons of drama went down. By the end of his altercation with airport officials, the newest So You Think You Can Dance judge and his entire crew were thrown off a flight with no way to get to their destination.
One of Jason’s reps told TMZ the problems started when Jason asked for an airport escort because TSA pre-check wasn’t working at the time. The “Want You to Want Me” singer hopied he and his squad could get through the airport madness a little faster than usual. But Jason and his crew were totally refused.
One of the outlet’s eyewitness says that’s when Jason’s team “started shouting” at employees, and from there everyone was told they would not be allowed on their flight. The rep disagrees and says only Jason was actually told he could board.
But, it looks like some of his entourage managed to take their seats as well, which prompted airport security to throw everyone off, including the Teen Choice Awards winner. But don’t fret, Jason got on a private jet to make his L.A. performance.
Despite ending up with an even more glam flight, TMZ says Jason now has beef with Southwest Airlines and is “extremely upset with the way [they] handled the situation.”
