Jason Gone From Pretty Little Liars? Devious Maids Renewed For Season 2

If you’ve been missing Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker) on Pretty Little Liars this season — or, let’s be real, missing Jason DiLaurentis’ abs — we have some not-so-exciting news. Drew’s new series, Devious Maids, has been picked up for Season 2.

Variety reports the news, and while we should totally be excited for the success of Drew’s new show... we’re more concerned about what this all means for Jason’s fate on PLL. Ali’s mysterious — and also ridiculously hot — older brother has been missing through all of PLL Season 4.

We haven’t seen him since way back in Season 3, Episode 19, and though it doesn’t sound like Jason is off the show for good, the most recent thing we’ve heard is that while he will return to the show at some point, it definitely won’t be right away.

With his role on Devious Maids set to continue, Drew won’t have a ton of time to devote to PLL, but we’re pretty sure he should be able to make the time to squeeze something in. But for now, he’ll be most focused on his DM role of Remi Delatour, the handsome son of a wealthy Beverly Hills family... who just so happens to be the object of affection for his mother’s maid.

We wish Drew tons of success in his new role, but we just hope he’s able to set aside a bit of time for PLL at some point in the future. We have so many unanswered Jason DiLaurentis questions. Don’t leave us hanging, dude.
