Game of Thrones Star Jason Momoa Confirmed as Aquaman in Man of Steel Sequel? (VIDEO)
We know we aren't the only Game of Thronesfans still mourning the loss of Khal Drogo even seasons later. Seriously, Jason Momoa is so hot, how could we not miss him? Fortunately, this hunky star might be coming to the big screen as Aquaman in the new Superman movie, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Rumors of Jason joining the flick have been bouncing around since December, and in January claims surfaced that he'll be playing Aquaman. Jason has resolutely denied the rumors, saying that they are just that — rumors. But now, HitFix is reporting that Jason as Aquaman is a done deal, and The Hollywood Reporter also has sources confirming the news.
Jason's role in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is apparently just a cameo, but it sets him up to join the future Justice League movie. According to HitFix, in Batman v. Superman we'll find out that Aquaman is displeased with what the World Engine from the Man of Steel movie has done to the Indian Ocean.
So far, there's been no confirmation from the studio, Jason, or Jason's rep, but we're hoping HitFix's sources have the story right, because Jason seems perfect for the part.
