Jay-Z and Kanye West Close to Settling Their Feud — Report (UPDATE)
According to TMZ, Kanye has reached out and asked to meet with Jay-Z to work out their issues.
A source told the site that the two appear to be resolving their tensions.
Jay-Z and Kanye, who have had disagreements and gone on to make up in the past, were most recently at odds after Kanye publicly accused Beyoncé of only turning up at the VMAs because she was to win Video of the Year.
According to the site, people close to Kanye feel Jay-Z should forgive him for speaking ill of his family because of the specific context — Kanye was hospitalized shortly after for stress and exhaustion.
TMZ had previously reported that the two may have also had a finance-related disagreement about Kanye's deal with Tidal, but is now being told that tensions between the rappers are of a purely personal nature, and that their business issues are being worked out separately.

However, things got even more heated in November when Kanye — who has 4-year-old daughter North and 20-month-old son Saint with wife Kim Kardashian — accused Beyoncé of only turning up at the VMAs because she was to win Video of the Year.
Addressing the situation on the Rap Radar podcast, Jay-Z said, “You got hurt, because this guy was talking about you on a stage.
“But what really hurt me, you can’t bring my kid or my wife into it …We’ve gotten past bigger issues, but you brought my family into it, now it’s a problem with me.”
"You know it’s a problem because me and him would have talked about it, resolved our issues," he said.
"And he knows he crossed the line. He knows. And I know he knows.
"Cause we’ve never let this much space go between one of our disagreements and we’ve had many.
"That’s part of who we are.”
On stage in California in 2016, Kanye said, "Beyonce, I was hurt, I went down for seven years on your behalf. I put my career, my life, my public well-standing at risk.
“This is a moment in the matrix.
"I heard you said you wouldn't perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over 'Hotline Bling.'
"In my opinion, now don't go dissing Beyonce, she's great," he continued.
"Taylor Swift is great. We are all great people.
"But sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forget who we are — just to win," he said.
"At the risk of my own success.
"I've been sent here, at the risk of my own life, at the risk of my own career, to give ya'll the truth."
toward the end he implored, "Jay Z, call me. Just call me — talk to me like a man."
In the same interview, Jay-Z addressed how working on Lemonade brought him and Beyoncé closer.
"We were in a place where we were working on our shit and getting our shit together and becoming tight and getting real with each other,” the 47-year-old said.
"It’s hard, it’s difficult to go through, but…I was there the whole time, during making the album, it was therapeutic."
