Kailyn Lowry Responds to Jenelle’s Comments About MTV: “I Have to Disagree” (UPDATE)
UPDATE (10/12/17 at 12:35 p.m. ET):
The Teen Mom 2 star called out the producers earlier this week for the way they portrayed her and her husband, David Eason, on this week's episode, and Kail is sounding off on her thoughts about the drama.
"I think we all feel differently," Kail told People Now Live of the feud while promoting her upcoming stint on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.
"I have to disagree with her statement about MTV. As far as I can see it you wouldn't have stuck with the show for 8 years if that was the case... and I'll leave that there."
The mom of three, who's had beef with Jenelle in the past, also added in one last zinger when asked if she thinks her co-star should leave the show.
"I don't care what Jenelle does," she laughed. Yeesh!

UPDATE (10/11/17 at 11:25 a.m. ET):
The episode focused on the reality star and her now-husband David Eason's tense relationship and made him out to look controlling and abusive, but the mom of three insists that's just not the case at all.
“If people think for two seconds I’m going to be in another abusive relationship they’ve got that wrong!" she tells People.
"I’ve been in that position way too many times and wouldn’t have married the man if I thought for a minute he would lay his hands on me.”
She adds, “He is such a passionate and humble man. He has a great family and supportive friends that I’ve met within these past few years getting to know [him]. I’ve heard nothing but great things about him and his past. He wouldn’t let a soul hurt me or our family.”
JE also airs out her grievances with MTV, saying she's tired of being edited to look like the "bad one" despite how much she's changed.
“I don’t like the fact that I’ve changed for the better and [I am] happily married, yet [people] perceive David as some angry dad that gets annoyed by his children," she says.
“Or, if MTV does not have the drama from the storyline they want, they try to create drama as hard as they can.”
She also admits she's blocked her producers' phone numbers, as she's putting the "focus on my family from now on" and distancing herself from the show.
Of course, the newlywed also defends her son, Kaiser, seemingly saying "feed me!" during the controversial episode and spills more on his speech impediment.
“He was actually yelling and pointing at Jace because Jace took his toy,” she says. “They bicker like this all the time.”
“I try helping him re-pronounce the word a few times until he gets it better,” says the 25-year-old. “Sometimes he even takes a toy and throws it on the floor out of anger because of us not being able to understand him.”

Original story (10/10/17 at 10:05 a.m. ET):
And now, as Jenelle gets backlash for her behavior on the October 9 episode, she's fighting back by defending her actions, blaming MTV, and even threatening to quit the series at the end of Season 8.
But this time, she actually seems serious.
The episode showed a little bit of Jenelle clashing with her mom, Barbara, over Jace, but mostly focused on her issues with now-husband David Eason.
We learned the couple canceled their save the date photoshoot because, as Jenelle told producer Kristen via text, David was "putting me down" and they got into a fight.
But the next day, when producer Kristen asked why they postponed the shoot, Jenelle said they were just in "bad moods" and David denied they were arguing.
"Everything's great around here," he said. "You don't need to worry about problems. Let's focus on the good things. Thanks, Kristen."
Then, they actually do pose for the photoshoot, but it was hard to pay attention to the engaged couple when Jenelle's 3-year-old son, Kaiser, was having a tantrum in the background, saying "feed me!" as his mom cozied up to her husband-to-be.
And now, the mom of three has an explanation for Kai's outburst, blaming it on his speech impediment... and tricky MTV editing.
In a long Instagram post, the 25-year-old revealed her son has a speech impediment and that he actually didn't say "feed me" in that scene, but MTV added in that subtitle to make her look bad.
MTV has done a great job this time. I watched last nights episode at 2pm yesterday afternoon and have been very upset ever since. I deactivated my accounts mainly because I dont want to even begin to read the comments. Here are texts of me explaining that subtitling my son when he has speech therapy isnt right at all, but MTV feels the need to keep it in their story and out the subtitle in feed me. Ive blocked all my producers numbers. I will not stand for the negative shit anymore. Ill be off social media for a while to be focusing on solely my family. @mtv
"Here are texts of me explaining that subtitling my son when he has speech therapy isn’t right at all, but MTV feels the need to keep it in their story and put the subtitle in 'feed me,'" she wrote, along with screenshots of her texts with executive producer Larry Musnik.
"I’ve blocked all my producers numbers. I will not stand for the negative shit anymore. I’ll be off social media for a while to be focusing on solely my family. "
And though the Read Between the Lines author did deactive her Twitter account (again), she had one more thing to say on Instagram before shutting off for good.
Yes, me and David have our ups and downs but yesterdays episode was uncalled for. Because David didnt feel like explaining another argument or drama on camera they make it look as if David is hiding some weird ass shit from the public as if he was hurting me in some way?! I have decided after this season Im probably calling it quits for filming this show. I told Morgan its getting to out of hand and its not healthy for us anymore, just harming us mentally. They treat all of us as if we are in a freak show and in cages. WE arent human beings to @mtv what-so-ever. The first screenshot of the custody episode someone posted photoshopping a hand mark on my arm. The other screenshots are pictures Ive taken myself from the same episode... and there arent any hand marks. Once they treat me with respect Ill be back, if they dont Ill be happy with the life Ive got. I told them this last night. #MarriedLife #MIA
“Yes, me and David have our ups and downs but yesterday’s episode was uncalled for,” she wrote in the caption.
“Because David didn’t feel like explaining another argument or drama on camera they make it look as if David is hiding some weird ass shit from the public as if he was hurting me in some way?!”
She went on, "I have decided after this season I’m probably calling it quits for filming this show. I told [a producer] it’s getting too out of hand and it’s not healthy for us anymore, just harming us mentally.
"They treat all of us as if we are in a freak show and in cages. WE aren’t human beings to @mtv what-so-ever [sic].”
She also included screenshots from a recent episode like the one above in which she goes to court with her mom, Barbara — apparently, fans altered some of the images to make it look like she had handmarks on her arms (from David), but her version of the photos proved she actually didn't.
However, fans weren't totally buying JE's speech impediment excuse, as some of the comments on her Instagram post prove:
Wow. These are just a few of the comments posted on Jenelles last picture. Ill post whats on Davids in a few. pic.twitter.com/GgWzo3y2yZMiracle Story (@theyhavethedumb) October 10, 2017
Other fans called her on her bluff, saying she won't actually quit because she (and most of the other moms) have threatened to quit the series many times but all come back when offered enough money.
"Please she will be back.. how do you think they can afford that house and all that land and vacations cars.. that MTV money is good," one commenter said.
Nathan Griffith, Kaiser's dad, also doesn't seem too convinced the North Carolina gal will really leave the show:
We're not betting on Jenelle's departure either, TBH. But in the meantime, we'll surely be missing her on social media!
