Jenelle Evans Reveals the Real Reason She Got Mad at Her Mom Barbara

It's Barbara Evans’s world and we're just living in it. This week on Teen Mom 2, our favorite Bostonian Broad took her flawlessness to a whole new level by engaging her daughter, Jenelle Evans, in an invigorating conversation about birthday cake. And when we say "conversation," we mean angry feud. Apparently, Babs was less than thrilled that Jace's cake was made out of "fondu" (note to everyone: it most definitely wasn't), and when she explained her fears to Jenelle, girlfriend completely flipped her lid.

"See that frosting? It's fondu. You can't eat it. You can't eat any of that frosting," Barbara said, while we bowed down to her perfection. However, Jenelle wasn't as amused by the situation, and angrily replied "You are f—ed up in the head, do you not know that?!"

Jeez, Jenelle. This girl's outburst came out of left field (just let Babs be confused about frosting!), but apparently there's more to the story than meets the eye. Jenelle took it to Twitter to defend herself, saying "Just to point out.. I did not flip out on my mom out of no where on tonight's episode... There was more of the argument than what's shown."

According to Jenelle, Babs had been criticizing her for hours on end, and said that there was "just a bunch of my moms nagging" that MTV cut out of the episode. Sigh. We all know how feisty Barbara can get, but there's really no excuse for Jenelle using that kind of language in front of her son!

The good news? Jenelle and Babs finally seem aware of the fact that Jace is picking up on their negativity, and it looks like they're ready to deal with the issue head on. Step one? Getting along better! Step two? No more conversations about fondu.

Do you think Jenelle was out of line this week? Hit the comments!
