Update: Jenelle has been busy on her Twitter account post-arrest. At round 10:30 p.m. ET, the MTV reality star tweeted, "Dude u can say what u want. The cops r sooooo annoyed by my neighbor constantly calling the cops on our dog and shit... went as far as my mom yelling at my neighbors if they don't stop she will sue them. She did it to sell a story." Jenelle closed with, "I've been in my house all day long... She even said Nathan was outside yelling at my mom on the phone... Lmfao no he wasn't." Guess we know her side of the story now!
Original story (December 14, 2013 11:30 p.m. ET): It's been a climactic 2013 for Jenelle Evans. The pregnant Teen Mom 2 star has just been arrested for the third time this year — this time for disturbing the peace during a fight with her boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, as In Touch reports.
North Myrtle Beach cops reported to the 21-year-old's house after Jenelle reportedly threw Nathan out of the house.
"Jenelle must have gotten into a fight with her boyfriend, and locked him out of the house," a neighbor tells the magazine. "He was banging on the door, and someone must've called the cops … They showed up soon after and Jenelle was originally hesitant to let them in. When she finally opened up, they went inside, and next thing you know, she was being brought out in handcuffs."
(Note, dear readers, that it's probably not the best idea to keep the door shut when the authorities come a-knocking.)
A public information officer for the town tells the mag that Jenelle was arrested around 6 p.m. ET tonight on a "breach of peace" charge and was subsequently released on bond — and that details will come Monday with the incident report.
As for those other two arrests, Jenelle was handcuffed for heroin possession and domestic assault in April and then arrested again in August for failing a drug test.
This bad news comes right on the heels of good news — Jenelle announced just two days ago (on December 12) that she's expecting her second child, and her first with Nathan.
Hopefully the two lovebirds were just squabbling about who will be on diaper duty and that the rest of Jenelle's pregnancy can be spent outside of a jail cell.
