Is it flattering if a famous person laughs at you? At least they know who you are...
Rihanna and Eminem recently announced their Monster Tour, and RiRi decided to promote the news by sharing an edited clip from Teen Mom 2, with Jenelle Evans telling her lawyer she just had to go to a Ke$ha concert.
As Jenelle patiently points out in the 2012 video, "I really can't miss that concert. That's why I got all these feathers in my hair. I bought clothes for the concert. I set up hotel rooms for the concert. It's not just a concert it's…" At that point, the video is changed to say "Rihanna!"
And obviously, a Rihanna/Eminem tour is not JUST a concert, either. It's totally worth adding feathers to your hair. And buying clothes. And setting up hotel rooms.
RiRi shared the edited video on March 22 (watch it below), writing, "the. monstER. tour. #NEWYORK #LOSANGELES #THEDETROIT be like......... @eminem." Jenelle was not only fine with the mocking shout-out, she shared it again herself, writing, "badgalriri's video - dude Rihanna actually noticed me lol."
At least she has a sense of humor about it! And, yep, RiRi knows she exists. In that respect, Jenelle is one step ahead of most of us. And yet, most of us have yet to be laughed at by Rihanna, so we are all a step ahead of Jenelle on that front. Who’s winning?
Would you be embarrassed to see a celeb use a not-so-flattering clip of you to promote their show or just be excited to be noticed?
