Jenelle Evans' ex-husband, Courtland Rogers, is celebrating his recent divorce, guys! Annnnnnd he's doing so in jail. Unfortunately, Courtland was arrested on June 11 (the day after his divorce from Jenelle), and was locked up in the Brunswick County Jail for failure to appear on both a felony charge and a misdemeanor charge. Sigh, classic Courty.
So, why is Courtland in the slammer? “Courtland’s felony charge relates back to his April 2013 arrest for possession of heroin with Jenelle,” a source tells RadarOnline.com. Meanwhile, the misdemeanor charge is because he didn't show up in court for a case involving Jenelle's sister, Ashleigh Evans.
We imagine poor Courtland will be in jail for a while considering that he's being held on a $150,000 bond for the felony charge and a $5,000 for the misdemeanor charge, which amounts to about $15,500 for bail.
“Having to come up with $15,500 for bail is going to be really hard for Courtland,” the source says. “He’s probably going to stay in jail for a while.”
Sigh, let's just hope he doesn't get scabies this time around. And if you're wondering how Jenelle feels about Courtland's arrest, girlfriend mostly just pities him.
“Jenelle thinks it’s really sad that he can’t stay out of trouble and that he is back in jail,” a source tells Radar. “And she’s glad that she’s not married to him anymore.”
Hopefully, Courtland can get his act together once he escapes from the slammer. This is certainly no way to start of his new life as a singleton!
