Nathan Griffith Confirms Jenelle Evans’ Hospitalization Wasn’t Drug Related (PHOTO)
Bad news, everyone. Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans has once again been hospitalized and surgically treated for on-going stomach problems hot off the heels of spending a fabulous weekend with her son, Jace Evans.
While there are many reasons Jenelle could need emergency surgery (including her past problems with ovarian cysts), Jenelle's boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, confirmed that she had her appendix removed.
"The appendices isn't affected by drugs...Your kidneys and liver is," he explained to a fan who assumed Jenelle's hospitalization was narcotics-related, adding "She had her appendix taken out."
Jenelle was admitted to the hospital for abdominal pain on Monday, July 22. Nathan shared a picture of Jenelle in hospital, and there's no doubt that she's in bad shape. Not only was this reality starlet hooked up to an IV and blood pressure cuff, she also sported two incision sites on her abdomen.
Poor Jenelle! We expect this gal to be in hospital for at least a few days (and her long term recovery could be anywhere from 3-6 weeks), so good thing she has a super supportive family to take care of her!
"Dr Barbara and Mr Jace will be with me today to help me at home," Jenelle tweeted on July 22. "How sweet! Thanks Mom. love u!"
