Jenna Dewan-Tatum Reveals How She Lost Her Baby Weight So Quickly
When a woman gets pregnant, she’s going to gain weight. There’s just no way around it, and for a working actress in Hollywood, the pressure to drop those pounds as soon as possible is pretty intense.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum gave birth to daughter Everly five months ago, and the new mom wasted no time shedding her pregnancy pounds. So how did the actress — whose new Lifetime series Witches of East Endwill premiere October 6 — drop the weight so quickly?
Unfortunately, there are no secret quick fixes here. Jenna says she worked hard to stay extremely active throughout her entire pregnancy. Getting back her post-baby body didn’t take too long because Jenna was extremely diligent about making sure she didn’t have much weight to lose in the first place.
“I wish there was a magical secret, but I worked out a lot while I was pregnant,” she tells E! News. “Like every day I was doing hikes and walks and working out with my trainer.” What’s more, the actress maintains a vegan diet.
So while you can’t hate Jenna for bouncing back to her petite figure so quickly, there is something you can be extremely jealous of. She’s married to hottie Channing Tatum, and Jenna says seeing her hubby as a father makes him even more smokin’. (We weren’t sure that was even possible. But guess what? It is.)
“There is nothing sexier than seeing the man you love, like, holding your beautiful baby,” she says. “And the way he rocks her and he sings to her — and he's so gentle and sweet and sensitive with her, and it melts you, it really does.”
Sorry, what? We didn’t catch that last part. We kind of just melted into helpless little puddles on the floor.
