Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna, might be one of the most adorable Hollywood couples ever, but even they have their disagreements — especially when deciding what’s for dinner. Channing might be all carnivore, but Jenna? Total vegan.
“We are complete polar opposites that way,” Jenna admitted to People Tuesday at a party celebrating her Ocean Drive magazine cover.
We’re not surprised Jenna’s on a strict meatless diet — how else would she look that good after having a baby less than a year ago? Although she credits hitting the gym while pregnant for helping her post-baby body out in a big way, her eating habits are also a huge factor. And even though Channing’s not about that vegetarian life, he’s totally supportive of Jenna’s decision to go animal-free.
“Sometimes I can drag him to my vegetarian vegan restaurants. He politely eats, then promptly goes home and eats what he really wants!” Jenna said. “Opposites attract!”
But at home, Channing is, unfortunately, outnumbered. Although their 7-month-old daughter, Everly, is pretty new to solid foods, she’s already eating way healthier than most of America. “She eats fruits and veggies and nothing else,” Jenna revealed. “I just want her to be healthy, choose healthy food habits. We’ll let her decide.”
And in the meantime, the new parents are loving life now that their family of two has become three.
“[Things are] very homey and fun,” Jenna said. “There’s lots of music on and lots of laughter. It’s great.”
