Jennifer Lawrence had a helluva housecleaning scene in American Hustle, and a future film could see her tidying up again with director David O. Russell — as they're both circling a film about the inventor of the Miracle Mop.

Deadline reports that David is in "early talks" to rewrite and direct the project and wants J.Law in the lead role. Bridesmaids co-writer Annie Mumolo co-wrote the script, that tells the tale of real-life businesswoman Joy Mangano — a Long Island woman and single mother who worked three jobs to support her three kids before inventing the self-wringing Miracle Mop, which she turned into a $10 million-per-year operation.

Joy has since invented Huggable Hangers, the Clothes it All Luggage System, Performance Platforms, and Comfort & Joy textiles.

If Jennifer and David sign on the dotted line, it'll be their third film together, following American Hustle and Silver Linings Playbook. And it's sure to be Oscar bait for both: both Hustle and Playbook earned David two Academy Award nominations for each film and Jennifer one nomination for each. Jen even won her category last year, and she could do so again on March 2.

Sounds like this dynamic duo could mop up awards again come 2015 or 2016!
