In case “Jenny from the Block” didn’t convince you that Jennifer Lopez is the same tough New Yorker she’s always been, let us introduce “Same Girl.”

The new single shows the Bronx native turned international superstar strutting around her old stomping grounds. She’s wearing a fur-lined black parka, Yankees baseball hat, and some blinged out bangle earrings (obviously the rocks that she’s got).

Just like with our cell phone’s ringtone “Jenny From the Block,” “Same Girl” is all about Jennifer shrugging off the haters. She’s “not dealing with the attitude” and “tryna make it clear to you” that baby, “in the end I’m still the same girl (same girl) / Same girl (same girl) / Same girl (same girl).”

The 46-second music video teaser comes just a day before Jennifer returns to our living rooms as a judge on American Idol Season 13. (A round of applause for clever market strategy). This year, the original J.L. will be joined by fellow veteran judge Keith Urban and shiny new face Harry Connick, Jr.

Despite all the changes to the show, however, there’s one thing we can count on: Jennifer will always be the — say it with us now — same girl, same girl, same girl.
