A Jennifer Lopez Barbie doll has hit the interwebz and some have noticed that it’s missing some of its — ahem — assets. The doll, while gorgeous, does not have the singer’s signature curves with some fans expressing their outrage at the makeover.

As one Twitter user wrote (via Daily Mail): “We thought JLO’s beauty lied in the fact that she was not a ‘Barbie Doll’.”

Television news anchor Marysol Castro didn’t mince any words either, tweeting, “Ayy Dios Mio-Love but she needs a bigger bootie.”

Others who purchased the $29.95 doll on Amazon were totally satisfied with the way it looks. One customer wrote, “If you are a Jennifer Lopez fan, buy this doll! She is like a little J.Lo! So fab and so pretty!”

According to Daily Mail, a life-size version of the Jennifer Lopez doll would have a tiny 18-inch waist, a 36-inch bust, and 33-inch hips. That is definitely NOT our Jenny from the block.

However, Jennifer herself doesn’t appear to be too upset, even doing a video promotion for the Barbie.

“I wanted to live in Barbie’s world, I wanted to be Barbie. I think Barbie represents infinite possibilities,” the stunning American Idol judge gushes in the ad. Now all we need is a J.Lo cover of Aqua’s “Barbie Girl” to top this off.

What do you think? Is this much ado about nothing, or are you outraged at the lack of curves on the Jennifer Lopez doll? Sound off in the comments!
