Did you catch Jennifer Lopez plugging her new single on American Idol last night? It was fellow judge, Harry “Dontcha Wish Your Boyfriend Was Hot Like Me” Connick, Jr., who took the stage to perform, but J.Lo couldn’t help but mention her own new song, “I Luh Ya PaPi.”

Now we see why. Jennifer headed to Miami for the steamy video shoot and all we have to say is, we luh ya, J.Lo.

We start with a little faux behind-the-scenes rift where J.Lo and her two resident girlies talk music video treatments with a record label exec. “‘Luh Ya PaPi,’ it’s so warm and fuzzy. We were thinking we shoot it somewhere fun, colorful. Maybe a water park?” the clueless rep suggests.

Needless to say, his ideas only get worse until we end up exactly where J.Lo belongs: on a yacht surrounded by half-naked men. But that’s not just because Jennifer likes 'em young. No, this, she insists, is a comment on how women are always objectified in male-lead music videos.

While the jury’s still out on the video’s success in that regard, we do appreciate the effort. And, let’s be real, we don’t exactly mind staring at the studs Jennifer hand-picked to shimmy next to her.
