The “Jersey Shore'” Cast Has Been Seen Filming Their Upcoming Reunion
It's about time!
Jersey Shore cast members from the original hit show have been spotted in Point Pleasant Beach and Asbury Park over the past month.
They are filming a reunion show.
“They were here for a couple hours and had dinner and played boardwalk games,” the director of marketing for Jenkinson’s Boardwalk said to the Asbury Park Press.
Mike “The Situation” confirmed rumors of the reunion on Twitter.
Snooki also posted a photo on Instagram with Deena, Sammi and JWoww to tease the reunion.
According to SILive, Seaside Heights, where the original show filmed from 2009 to 2012, rejected a permit request to film.
An alternate permit was filed instead with Asbury Park to film on the boardwalk and beach.
The reunion will not be an MTV project, according to an MTV spokesperson.
Bright Road Productions, the studio filming the reunion, is a different production company from the one MTV used to produce the original show.
Producers inquired into shooting inside the Langosta Lounge restaurant on the Asbury Park boardwalk but were denied permission, according to the Asbury Park Press.
"They called 10 days before they wanted to film and we said no freaking way, it’ll be bad publicity,” the entertainment director for the Langosta Lounge said.
“Bring those meatheads to the Langosta Lounge? No way.”
It has not been announced what format the reunion will be or on which network it will be featured, but we can't wait to see what they have in store for fans of the show.
