The Jersey Shore star smells something off about the company’s fragrance Snazzy, a scent that looks eerily similar to Snooki’s own contribution to the business of personal odor. Her trademark perfume, if you haven't guessed yet, is called Snooki. She also offers a slightly more expensive version called Snooki Couture. That one includes a neon green rose because why not?
The reality TV star’s beef is specifically with Excell Brands, a company which, funny enough, is based in Snook’s own beloved Jersey. Beside the almost identical packaging designs (neon pink and purple cheetah spots, obviously), Snazzy is even branded as Excell’s “version of Snooki by Nicole Polizzi,” says TMZ. Sounds like Snooks might have herself a case.
So how much does the new mom want to make the copycat fragrance okay in her book? A cool $6.5 million, at least. Baby Lorenzo has gotta eat, you guys!
We’re hoping this latest round of reality TV star lawsuits will be decided by official smell-off with the honorable judge ruling in favor of whichever fragrance most reminds him or her of ocean spray, self-tanner, and regret.
