Former Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino is apparently more than willing to babysit Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio’s little one, but when it comes to actually having kids of his own, well, that’s another story.
“If he ever needs me to babysit, I’m here,” Vinny said before admitting he’s not ready to settle down himself. “I’m only 26. I’m not ready for kids yet. I come from a big family though, so down the road, I see myself having a family, but not right now.”
When it comes to Pauly’s parenting skills, however, Vinny doesn’t seem to have any doubts.
“Pauly is going to be an amazing dad,” he said. “He’s the hardest working guy I know. She’ll [Amabella] definitely have his swag. Pauly will keep his kid looking fresh.”
Pauly D became a father after a one-night stand with 26-year-old Amanda Merkert in 2012. Although Pauly is said to have just met his five-month-old baby daughter two weeks ago, he is reportedly working hard to make up for lost time. The new dad has already cleared out a room for her in his Rhode Island home and is working toward gaining some form of custody of Amabella.
“He’ll be protective of her,” Vinny joked of the new dad. “Pauly, he’s cool, but he can fight. I’d tell those guys who try to date her to be very careful.”
