As we reported yesterday (June 11), at least one of the Bamboo bar goers allegedly involved in a June 8 fight with Jersey Shore’s Ronnie was reportedly planning to sue Ronnie, Bamboo bar, MTV, and MTV’s parent company Viacom.

Justin Viterito, one of the men involved, has hired attorney Matthew DiBrino to pursue an investigation into what, exactly, occurred. In an exclusive statement to Wetpaint Entertainment, Matthew updates us with details on the case.

“From my understanding, not only is there Bamboo security footage, there is also footage from MTV, from the production." He says, “Once that footage gets into our hands, it will be clear who the aggressor was."

Matthew added, "I haven’t had contact with any of the attorneys from the Jersey Shore side, but I have sent 495 Productions, Bamboo, MTV and Viacom letters ordering them to preserve all relevant data and footage."

Matthew clarified that he is only representing Justin, not the other guy who was reportedly involved (Justin’s friend, Devon Chichele, who hasn’t decided if he’s going to hire a lawyer yet). "Nothing has been filed yet. We have two years to file a complaint and, as an attorney, I have a duty to get all the facts first," Matthew says.

Finally, in case you were worried that the police force in Seaside Heights has some sort of deal with Jersey Shore producers, Matthew says it’s completely the opposite. “I would like to say that the Seaside Heights police department has been nothing but exceptional. They have not shown any inclination that the Jersey Shore cast gets any leeway or special treatment."

Keep it classy, Seaside!
