In case you haven’t heard, there was a major rumble under the boardwalk over the weekend, as the Jersey Shore cast got into a fight with two bargoers, Justin Viterito and Devon Chichele. Now, the two friends are planning a serious lawsuit against Ronnie, Roger (JWOWW’s boyfriend), Bamboo Bar, the bar’s bouncer, and Viacom (the company that owns MTV).

The fight took place on Friday night (June 8), when Justin began drinking with Ronnie and Roger. According to the pair’s lawyer, Matthew DiBrino, Devon went to approach his friend, and a member of the Jersey Shore crew “pushed him in the back.”

Their lawyer claims that Justin, who went to help Devon, but was physically assaulted by Ronnie when the bouncer held Justin in a headlock. “Ronnie then punched him in the face a few more times,” according to the lawyer (via TMZ).

Perhaps the most interesting part of Justin and Devon’s potential lawsuit is that they blame MTV and Viacom, “who they claim promote this activity for ratings.”

Catch the premiere of Snooki and JWOWW’s new spin-off on Thursday, June 21 on MTV.
