In addition to being a branding-savvy businesswoman, Snooki’s also become quite a helping hand for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The Jersey Shore star participated in ABC and Disney’s “Day of Giving” telethon today and helped raise funds for the victims of the superstorm, and she’s not done yet.

During her appearance on the telethon, which aired during Good Morning America on November 5, she described the ways in which she personally tried to help victims, explaining, “Seaside is like my second home. I donated a lot of clothes to Long Island, Staten Island, basically my whole closet, and I’m very happy to announce that November 15th me and my cast members on MTV we’re going to have a benefit.”

That benefit will also be a telethon, called Restore the Shore, which will air at 11 p.m. ET  on Thursday, November 15. MTV said in a statement that the effort will be “principally directed toward the rebuilding of the famed Seaside Heights boardwalk, as well as supporting the rebuilding efforts of businesses and residents in the community.”
