It’s no secret that Jersey Shore star Snooki has dropped some serious poundage since she first burst into our lives on Season 1, but how exactly did Snooks reach her “goal weight” of 98 pounds?

The answer: diet pills, reformed drinking habits, and lots of exercise.

Snooks has openly admitted to using Zantrex-3 diet pills to help her “increase energy” before workouts and cut down on cravings. Zantrex-3 is a brand of amphetamine-free pills that are made from a mix of yerba mate, green tea, guarana, and caffeine.

The pint-sized star has also changed her gym habits, going from the roommate least likely to hit the gym with the G.T.L. crowd to an exercise addict who was spotted aggressively doing crunches in the Italy house on Season 4.

Another secret from Snooki: changing her booze. No, Snooki isn’t drinking any less than she normally does, instead she now just drinks vodka and skips sugary cocktails and calorie-packed beers. Considering that Snooks & Co. spend most of their on-camera time completely sauced, this could be the biggest factor in her weight loss journey.
