Wondering if you’ll be able to catch a new episode of Snooki & JWOWW on Thursday, September 6? We have some bad news for you …

MTV will not be airing a new episode of the hit Jersey Shore spin-off. Why? Because they’ll be showing the 2012 Video Music Awards instead! But don’t worry about having a Snooki withdrawal, MTV will be airing a special Jersey Shore recap of the past five seasons at 6 p.m. ET, followed by an hour-long preview of Season 6 at 7 p.m. ET. The VMAs will start at 8 p.m. ET.

The finale of Snooki & JWOWW will air on Thursday, September 13 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Jersey Shore Season 6 will premiere on Thursday, October 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
