Some Jersey Shore fans are still struggling to wrap their heads around the fact that many of the cast members are not actually from New Jersey — and some aren't even Italian! Snooki, for instance, is actually Chilean by birth, and was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, NY.

But what about her hubby-to-be? Is Jionni LaValle the real Jersey deal?

You betcha!

According to Us Weekly, Jionni grew up in East Hanover, NJ.

And that's not all: Snooki and Jionni reportedly plan to live with Jionni's parents in New Jersey "for a year or so" once she has her baby.

Snooki may not be a Jerseyite through and through, but it sounds like baby Lorenzo will be.
