Jersey Shore has moved to Buckwild’s West Virginia turf, and now it’s making another big move.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 495 Productions and Jersey Shore creator SallyAnn Salsano is taking her classic MTV formula to a new network, launching a CMT series called The Dirty South this fall.

While details are still under wraps, we’re guessing that a group of Southern pals will get together and do crazy things, likely involving horses, thick accents, and real sun instead of self-tanner.

But given the rural, Southern theme of Buckwild, it’s surprising that The Dirty South is so similar — especially since the former was already renewed for a second season. However, at the same time, with the success of both Jersey Shore and Buckwild, there’s no reason not to capitalize on the ever-growing fan base.

Frankly, we’d love to see more Jersey spin-offs, but we’ll still be checking out The Dirty South. Will you tune in this fall? Tell us below!
