The Season 3 premiere drew in a staggering 8.4 million viewers last night, making it the most-watched MTV series telecast of all time. Of all time. Jersey Shore is like, the Titanic of MTV. (Snooki and Vinny are obviously Rose and Jack in this comparison.)
Season 3 premiered 62% higher in the 12-34 age demographic than the Season 2 premiere, and even scored a higher adult demographic rating than any show on broadcast networks except for The Big Bang Theory. It actually tied with huge ratings leader (and critically acclaimed dramedy) Grey's Anatomy.
What can't those macaroni rascals do?
