JWOWW vs. Bristol Palin: Whose Side Are You On?
After President Obama announced that he personally supports gay marriage (May 9), JWOWW took it upon herself to represent her Jersey Shore castmates and celebrate Obama’s assertion, stating that she is “all about” same-sex couples being granted the same rights as hetersexual couples.
But Bristol Palin quickly blogged her own position, which essentially defended the “tradition” of marriage between a man and a woman. As many pointed out, Bristol’s remarks were somewhat ironic, considering that she is currently a single mother caring for her out-of-wedlock baby without a husband or father figure.
Of course, JWOWW took the opportunity to call Bristol “ignorant,” “uneducated,” and a hypocrite. Phew! We here at Wetpaint are always on Team JWOWW, but some might argue that, for a message attacking hate, her wording was a little too harsh.
