Jersey Shore star Pauly D's highly anticipated debut album could be out by the end of the year.

Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Pauly D over the weekend during an appearance at The Pool After Dark at Harrah's Resort and Casino in Atlantic City. "That's the project I've been working on every single day. Basically during the week I've been hitting the studio hard with some good features."

Pauly's keeping many details of the album top secret — including if Big Sean, who he recently hit the studio with, is collaborating on the album. However, he did let it slip that the album will be a reflection of how he deejays. "I wanna make an album that's a little bit of how I deejay. So it's gonna be hip hop and a little house. So it's gonna be like a David Guetta album meets DJ David Kalat."

As far as when Pauly's debut album will drop it could be as early as the end of the year, but there's still no firm date. "I don't know because I want it to be perfect. If it does come out it'd be towards the end of the year."

When it does hit stores, Pauly album will be released by 50 Cent's record label G-Unit.  He was signed by the label in December 2011. The signing was featured on The Pauly D Project.
