Roger Mathews Denies JWOWW Engagement Rumors: “I Proposed With an Invisible Ring”

Despite reports that Jersey Shore star JWOWW and her long-term boyfriend Roger Mathews have been engaged “for a while,” Roger has been tweeting about the alleged engagement in a way that suggests the rumors are just that: rumors.

When a fan asked Roger if he had any engagement news to share, the 37-year-old guido tweeted, “Lol. Yes. I proposed with an invisible ring. She's waiting for it to appear before she will give me an answer.”

Since we know JWOWW wants a major diamond when she gets engaged, we highly doubt our girl would say “Yes” to anything unless there was a rock involved.

Roger also tweeted, “If you recall the good ol tabloids had my name wrong for the first year and a half of us dating,” most likely referring to the fact that, early on, Roger’s last name Mathews was spelled with two T’s.

Do Roger’s humorous tweets add up to a denial of the engagement? It sounds like it, but we know how much Rodge loves a good practical joke...
