Jersey Shore star Ronnie did not appear before a judge today (July 3), despite a scheduled court date to answer a citizen's criminal complaint against him. An insider confirms to Wetpaint Entertainment that the Bronx native "did not have to appear" at Ocean County Court.

New Jersey native Justin Viterito accused Magro of punching him in the left eye during a June 8 bar fight. "I was then put into a headlock by the bouncer," the complaint against Magro reads. Viterito also claims, in the complaint, that two police officers who were there "offered no assistance while I was bleeding."

Police have not charged the Jersey Shore star with any crime stemming from the fight at Bamboo Bar. In fact, the owner of the bar claims video of the incident will prove that Ronnie only acted in self defense.  Along with Ronnie, Pauly D, The Situation,JWOWW, JWOWW's boyfriend Roger and two cast members from The Pauly D Project were also involved in the brawl.

Ironically, Ronnie's Jersey Shore co-star Deena Cortese was also due in court today. She pleaded guilty to a reduced charge for her June 10 arrest following a drunk dance through the streets of Seaside Heights.
