Now that Hoboken is most likely not an option for JWOWW and Snooki’s spin-off locale, we’ve received new information regarding where the girls will be filming.
A friend of JWOWW’s told Wetpaint Entertainment exclusively that the girls are now applying for a permit to film their spin-off in Jersey City. As we previously reported, MTV has already scouted Jersey City to see if it would work — but Hoboken had also been on their short list of possibilities.
Though Jersey City doesn’t have the charm and neighborhood-y feel of Hudson River-adjacent Hoboken’s tiny square-mile size, it’s only a 15-minute train ride into Manhattan. Plus, if MTV sets JWOWW and Snooki up in one of the brand new high-rises on the Hudson (which, ahem, the girls could afford on their own), we would be in store for a pretty glamorous peek into the real ways in which two of Jersey Shore’s most famous stars live their lives.
We’ll be tuning in no matter where the spin-off takes place, but Jersey City gets our vote.
